We have decided to invest our money trying to fix our T4 California. I was recently at the TUV and he said that if I wanted to make the bus live longer (which we do after spending a lot of money on it) we should treat the rust on the underside of the vehicle too.
As we have to spend money fixng the engine and exhaust and some welding, I thought I may be able to try and treat the rust myself. I am thinking of hiring a mietwerkstatt and applying the protector myself.

Has anyone any recomendations of such products to use myself? Are there any others people have used and recommend? Also, what is a good process to do such things? I guess it would be good to go and get an unterbodenwasch before doing the work. What should I protect? Everything or not certain parts? Should I do something before I apply the protector?
Any help or tips are most welcome
